You can tape up the eye to block the machine from reading how long the HTV roll or sheet is. It's best to use masking tape or non-transparent tape. Covering the eye gives the opportunity to use up smaller sheets. As long as the HTV is long enough to be clipped securely on the machine.

For the Graphtec, it must be clipped on the right side of the machine to work. For Roland, it is on the left side. Depending on where the eye is located on the cutter, that's where you secure the HTV.

And there you have it! An easy way to make use of your leftover Heat Transfer Vinyl!
